    Hi All,

    I am trying to configure my debian system to access internet on shell prompt.
    Can anyone guide me through the steps involved.

    Note: I'm using Debian for the 1st time and using Debian 3.0

    Did you configure you network during installation? If so, then all you need to access the web from the command line is a text based browser such as w3m or links2. This article shows how to configure networking in Debian.

    There is also lynx. It's the one I usually use.
