    Galeon Installation Prereq's

I'm trying to install Galeon on my Debian 3.1 laptop. After a fresh install of Debian and typing apt-get install galeon to install it, I get this when I run it:
    Code:
    Debian-2:~# galeon

    (galeon:1649): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
And then nothing (it gives me a new Debian-2:~# prompt).

I suspect this is either because I didn't set it up correctly (I didn't set it up at all- I don't know how/if it's necessary), or because there are other packages I need to install for it to work (like I said before, this is a fresh install of Debian, with some pretty basic settings).

What else do I need to setup/install to get it running?
(Hehe, all this for a web browser)

This may be a silly question, but you do have x-windows installed, correct? You are not running just from the command line....

    Looks like a permission problem.
Can you run it as root?
