    VNC access

    Hello Everyone,

I recently installed debian on an older computer that I aquired and I plan to make a lamp server out of it. I was first going to put VNCSERVER on it so I could view it from my FC3 computer. When I start the server on debian I get this error.

    Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'

Am I supposed to be able to access my command line debian system from the GUI on FC3?

Is there another remote accessing program that I can use?

    Thanks
    jessej

If your Debian box doesn't have a GUI, then VNC won't be much help. To get command line access, the best thing is ssh.
