    Captive Install Aquire problem

When I try to run "Captive install aquire" to be able to transfer files between Linux and Windows partitions, my system locks up. The process where Linux looks for drivers to use begins running, but freezes a few seconds into the scan. Is there a way to manually install the needed drivers? I am running a
    Kanotix (Knoppix)/WinXP dual boot.
