Hello all,

My machine is an AMD 2400+, 1GB RAM, 2 160GB hard drives (One is my backup, for now anyway), onboard sound, and a nVidia 5200 card. Running Etch, updated to stable last night.

My minor problem is that my wife's account won't initialize the sound properly when that account is the first to log in to the machine. If my account is logged in first, she gets audio fine. I've checked, and both account seem to have the same group memberships and identical settings in KDE's control panel.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to get her sound to start properly?
