Knoppix and nvidia driver
Just installed knoppix 3.2 and is working fine and dandy.
However when I try to install me nvidia graphics driver it whinges that there's no kernel headers (or sources?) and grinds to a halt.
Kernel is 2.4.20-xfs.
Any idea how I can solve this one?

Did you install it to your harddisk? If so, you should be able to download the sources somewhere, probably at knoppix' site.
Or you could compile yourself a new kernel.
Good luck

nvidia
There should be an installer script in the 'knoppix' menu.
If not then these scripts are all available from kano's site (check the link on the knoppix site on the start page)
one of these is called NVIDIALiveInstaller (or similar) and worked a treat for me.
Im at work now so hard to be specific but try using the bash autocomplete and install<tab>
it should come up with quite a few options.... choose one and then use a which ... the directory is full of scripts a couple of choices for the nvidia.
hope this helps

Cheers for the info there. I shall mark it for future reference as I've got Gentoo running on that partition now.
