    vsftpd and grouping users

    Hi!

I'm running a ftp server (vsftpd) where I would like to have the users grouped like for example family, friends, collegue and so on. Some directories shall be shared between the groups, some shall only be visible by respective group.

Since I've restricted all ftp accounts to their logon directory I can't use softlinks, does anybody have a good idea on how to solve this? Is it possible to do a per user mount at logon or something similar?

    Cheers
    /Stickan

    Eh

Was this a to complicated issue to be solved when running Linux? This was easily done when I had my server running Windows. Maybe it was a mistake to switch OS?
