Debian Etch install help
every time i install it, it only uses one cd, wheres the option to use more than one cd during the install or after. There are no packages on other cds so i figured it
must be during the install. I am freshly install installing and I will reinstall the os if i need to.

under the installation process debian configure the apt package manager thats the point where you can add more cds to the pacakge source , or after the installation you can use apt-cdrom command to add the cds to the package source.

during the installation process all it does is try to access the internet for a mirror, then when it does'nt succeed it just continues to select which packages to install

debian installation divided to two phase
1. phase install a base system
2. phase is the real installation proces , in this pahse you can configure the base system and apt
