Debian 4.0 SPARC CD doesn't boot
Hi there,
I just came across a cheap Sun Microsystems box, an UltraSparc 10 Creator 3D and bought it, specs:
- 500mhz UltraSparc 64bit processor
- 512 mb ram
- 20 gb hdd
Solaris10 kind of sucked (slow, understandable though), so I'm trying to load Debian on it.
I downloaded and burnt the CD isos (I only downloaded 4 of them lol), and when I turn on the computer I hit STOP+A and type in
The cdrom is read and boots, and the usual Press ENTER to start setup, but when I hit enter is hangs on Loading Linux... and thats it....Code:boot cdrom
This is new territory for me (never worked with Sun hardware before), so I'll appreciate any pointers in the right direction if I'm doing something wrong.
