I was just wondering;
Does switching desktops mess up the installation or anything?
ex: I had GNOME, switched to KDE, now I want to switch back.
Also, When I was switching to KDE, I had a whole mess of trouble. I had to uninstall everything for gnome, which took hours cause it would give me recommended choices (like, keep 5 update 1 remove 4 type of thing), and then did the same installing KDE.
Is there an easier way to go about switching??
EDIT:
Yes, I know that the title is somewhat deceptive as per the subject of the post, however I changed the post prior to posting it, and neglected the title so thus it must remain due to the lack of being able to edit it.
