    updating firefox

    Hi there!
I just installed Debian on my pc, and found out that it came with firefox version 1.0.6, which i can start by writing firefox in the console.
Then i downloaded firefox version 2.0 and extracted it. But when i write firefox in the console it still starts the old firefox. To start the new one i have to write the hole patch: /home/(user)/apps/firefox/firefox. How do i change it so when i just write firefox in the console it starts the new one??

    Thanks
    Sune

move /usr/bin/firefox to some other place and create a symlink of new version in /usr/bin folder.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
