windows XP stopped booting after debian installation!!!!

Recently I installed Debian Linux v4.0 on my pc. It had windows XP installed earlier. The installattion went on fine and I was able to use both the OS. But after 1 day the booting of windows XP stopped booting after I select windows XP from the Grub kinda OS chooser. I tried to boot it from command prompt...it fails to boot once it starts checking for C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\Mup.sys file. Is there anything wrong with my installation? Also I see the NTFS drive is no more listed as the C:/ when i run fdisk from DOS prompt. Is the partition got corrupted?? any help would be appreciated..

    Thanks
    Santosh

You said everything went fine and your was able to boot both OS, so there is no reason that will changes after one day, i think it's related to internal windows, and it's not the right place to post this problem, since your Debian is working fine .

i agree with alliov, this is Windows problem and Debian has nothing to do with it.
anyway, i know a little bit about this error. boot up from Windows Installation CD, select repair and execute this
    Code:
    checkdisk /r
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
