    How to uninstall Flash player from Iceweasel/2.0.0.4

    I am running Iceweasel 2.0.0.4 on Debian etch. I installed the Flash player after it said I needed to install it to display SWF files on YouTube. Iceweasel itself downloaded and installed the player.

    However Flash adverts are driving me nuts and I don't really use YouTube that much to want to suffer from these ads

    How can I uninstall the Flash player? I tried removing the action in Iceweasel of opening SWF using Flash but the "Remove Action" button is grayed out.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    find the extensions menu entry in the menus and there you can remove the flash player.

    Tools -> Extensions

    or if this not work

    go to /usr/share/mozilla/plugins and delete flashplayer.xpt and libflashplayer.so files. Delete those files from your own mozzilla dir. ~/.mozzilla
