    Is there a way to apt-get apache 2.0 rather than 2.2?

    if it is not, is there a way of getting apache 2.0 source and compiling it myself without using apt?

    2 is present in oldstable so you could install it be adding oldstable repositories to your /etc/apt/sources.list
