    accessing an xp machine from debian

    i'm trying to access the files on an xp machine. i can find it, but whenever i try to ssh or connect through konqueror, it times out.

    we're on the same router. my ip is 192.168.0.22. the xp machine is 192.168.0.17.

    the xp machine is missing its shlwapi.dll.

    Are you sure you can connect to your xp computer through ssh? Is samba installed on your debian machine?
