    Floppy disk automount in Debian Sid?

    Other than the using the "mount" command line is there a way to just insert the floppy into the floppy drive and then it reads it automatically and so on??

    The CD/DVD ROM Drive automounts but not the floppy drive in my case.

    No there is no way in this, since when you insert the floppy in your floppy drive is as there is nothing inserted unless you send the command to your floppy to start.
