Problem with locking screen (Gnome)
Hey all,
I have a problem regarding gnome and locking my screen. Any time I lock my screen, my screensaver runs but when I move my mouse the screensaver will stop but I will not get the dialog box to enter my password. I can type my password and hit enter though and it will work. Any ideas?
BTW, I am running Gnome 2.18.3 and gnome-screensaver 2.18.2-1.
Thanks in advance,

No, I'm just running metacity. I also have an Intel i810 chip.

I'm using the i810 driver also , but xscreensaver instead without any problem.
I remember i had a problem but is not related to this with dropline gnome, the gnome-desktop package so i compile it again with prefix=/usr and just make && make install and this solved my issue, you can try something like this !

I could do that but I would prefer not to. I'll use xscreensaver in the meantime. Thanks for the advice!
