Use HP PSC 1310 in The gimp
Hello I've been googlin' and found almost nothing about this issue. I 'd like to use a HP psc 1310 in the gimp. The printer works perfectly in other programs ( scannin' & printin'). I installed the driver for the gimp and when i try to set up the printer the model of this printer does not appears. How can i configure this printer to work with the gimp? Regards!

i'm confused...is it not letting you print from the gimp? are you trying to scan to the gimp? I found this related site with the model number you gave: OpenPrinting database - Printer: HP PSC 1310 if that helps at all

Sorry for haven't been specific. What i want to do is to print the images i edit in the gimp., but when i try to setup the printer in the gimp , the model of this printer does not appear. The printer scans and prints in other apps but not in The gimp. Thanks

Make sure you have gutenprint installed:
