First of all, I'd like to say that this is my very first post in these forums. yay me

anyways, I'm running Ubuntu 7.04 at the moment, and I have beryl 0.20rc2 installed. I'm using the ATI graphics drivers and I use an ATI radeon xpress 200 graphics card w/ 64Mb of shared memory.

here's my problem:
Sometimes, just randomly my desktop will go white, and the only way I can get it back to normal is if I 1.reboot, 2.Crash X with ctrl+alt+backsapce or 3.kill beryl, sacrifice all of those fancy 3d effects and go back to using metacity.

any ideas people?
