Is my 'xorg.conf' making my computer ridiculously slow?
I installed nvidia card not too long ago, and now it seems like my computer is sluggish. I'm not a guru in the graphics-cards department, so I'm posting here to see if anybody can help me out. I don't do anything memory intensive (save firefox).
It seems like Xorg is using up a lot of juice (memory) is this normal? [see screenshot here]

I don't think you are using to much memory. I find ~ 50 quite normal. As for the xorg.conf, I didn't see anything that stood out, although you might try the nv driver (instead of nvidia) and see if that makes a difference. If it does, the problem is with Nvidia's driver.
