    ATI Catalyst

I just upgraded to an ATI Radeon x1650 card/256MB. Installed the latest ATI drivers, 8.40.4 and got xorg.conf configured. I'm running Slackware 12, KDE 3.54. In K Menu a new icon has appeared for "ATI Catalyst Control Center". When I click it I get the bouncing icon for 15 seconds or so then it disappears. A ps -ef shows that amdcccle is running but I get no GUI and can find no way to access one (right click on desktop, etc.) Anybody got experience in this area??? Thank in advance.

    ATI Catalyst Center

I have the same problem. I'm using SlackWare 12.0 and KDE 3.5.7. I installed the latest ATI drivers 8.42.3 and the Catalyst Control Center just hangs up, it starts for 15 secs and goes do background. Does anybody know anything about the issue?
