How do I change the trash icon?

    Without changing the entire theme.

Forgive me, but I am used to using the display properties in windows to assign the full and empty versions of the recycle bin. Is there no comprable option under FedoraCore2 running gnome? I can change all other icons, but not the trash icon.

Seems strange that a search for this issue brings up basically nothing. Maybe it's just my EXTREME noobieness

Go to /opt/kde3/share/icons folder (for suse 9.1) and then write in the console :find ./ -name *trash*
it will show where are the icons of trash stored.go to the folder u want and change the icon with he one u want.....(all the icons are png format)
.The name of the icon u choose must be the same with that u deleted so linux system recognise it!
    have fun!
ps:all the procedures above should be done as root!
