Another newb ?-Cant get plugins to work-MD 9.1
OK, I am an absolute newb to Linux. I installed Mandrake 9.1 last night, and I cant get any of my plugins to work. I downloaded the Java runtime from Sun, I got it installed, and then I copied the plugin from the JRE folder to the Mozilla plugins folder. Now when I click the "about plugins" I can see all the java, but the page I am trying to view still says it requires the Java VM to be viewed. What did I do wrong?

Probably mozilla didn't get configured for it. Try downloading the installer from mozilla.org instead.
