xawtv -hwscan on bootup
Hi all,
I am using xawtv -hwscan to print the list of available devices in my machine.
As u all know its a X11 application, and is working fine if i try it with a terminal (ie after bootup).
However for my application, i need xawtv -hwscan to work on bootup.
xawtv -hwscan is not giving the required result on bootup.
It gives
Error: Can't open display
Can anyone suggest a proper solution for this.
Or please suggest some other tool in linux which gives me the list of available devices without using X11(ie on bootup)
Thanks and Regards,
Thiru.
