    kDrive vs X11 what is the Big Diffrence?


    Well title says all. Whats the Big Diffrence between kDrive and X11.org?
    Id really like to know.. What Disadvantages does kDrive have?

    KDrive is a portable X server, it does not have all of the features of X11. I believe it is intended for embedded devices though it does work on desktop PCs. Also to my knowledge it does not support mainline X11 drivers, but rather supports Vesa and Framebuffer rendering.
