ok so I got my wacom tablet working by adding to xorg.conf (see below).
But now my problem is my Laptop won't startup when a Wacom tablet is NOT present. It says "greeting program is crashing, trying another.."
Is this because it expects the input device to be present ? Anyone else experienced this ?

Any suggestions ? ...
I wouldn't mind having to manually run a script to enable the tablet after booting. (could be done as part of a gimp launcher i suppose ?)
After changing xorg.conf, how can one re-start an x-session (or re-load the info it contains?).

I'm using 'Fedora Core 7' .. can anyone let me know if later distros fix this sort of problem?
