when i use remote desktop connection and put the ip of the pc i want to connect then connect button doesn't appear to be active so i can't connect.what should be wrong?

Is a firewall blocking the connection?
Have you tried a program like TightVNC. I use it all the time at work, no problems at all.

i tried remote desktop connection provided in kde 3.2.it connects after the authentication and i get after a few seconds :

For the VNC problem it looks like a problem with GCC. Possible upgrade??? Or XVNC could be a broken file?? Probably consider finding another version.
For the Remote Desktop KDE 3.2:
Is there a screensaver running on the other machine??

no,screensaver does not run on the other machine..and i can't understand why the connection terminates suddenly..
