Quick KDE question
Just wondering if there is a way that I can make the panel in KDE only show the programs running on the desktop that I am currently looking at.
I.e desktop 1 has firefox run and desktop 2 has amsn.
when on desktop 1 the panel only shows firefox and in desktop 2 it only shows amsn.
I am running Ubuntu 8.04 if that makes a different. It's one feature in gnome I like alike though i can't work out if I can make KDE do the same.

There's an option for that somewhere. I remember it.
Try looking on kcontrol. The options for the taskbar should also be accessible on the configurations dialog you can open with the right click menu over the taskbar or the panel itself. Just look around. I don't have kde installed so I can't give any more concrete instructions.

Right click on the panel, click Configure Panel..., then click taskbar. Then untick "Show windows from all desktops"
