System is HD-install of kanotix-bug-hunter-07-A

I want this box (A) to allow remotec X-clients (from box B)

I did
xhost + B (on box A)

logged into B using ssh and typed commands
export DISPLAY=A:0
xterm

results in message
... can't open display "A:0"

Any ideas will be appreciated?
