Hello all... I have recently installed CentOS v5.1 and I have been trying to set a default refresh rate of 75hz. I can not accomplish this and on reboot it defaults to 85hz which skews the display. I have tried many solutions but none of them seem to work. I have entered the settings for the monitor in the "monitor" section of the xorg.conf file. I have tried to enter "1024*768_75.00" in modes under the "screen" section but that makes it worst as the resolution then goes to 800*600. I am using the default 'sis' driver that came with the distro. I would appreciate any other suggestions that I could get.
