    Enlightenment themes never use background

I don't know if any Enlinghtenment forums exist so I have to post this here.

I'm using 0.16 and when I choose a new theme it all loads fine except the background. It's like it doesn't include one even though they all do.

Any help appreciated or maybe point me to a forum for Enlightenment?

    Thanks[/quote]

I'm not sure about Enlightenment in particular, but I've had trouble getting backgrounds to display in Blackbox if I didn't have ImageMagick installed.

The backgrounds aren't loaded as part of the theme in Enlightenment DR16.
You'll have to find the image file and set it as your background.
If you're using GNOME or KDE with Enlightenment, you'll
need to set the GNOME or KDE background instead since those desktops will
    overlay the Enlightenment background.

i know this is an old thread but for anyone interested: find the background imge in the theme's directory, and copy it over to ~/.enlightenment/backgrounds. then enable it in "Desktop Background Settinsg". you should also have a basic image viewer installed such as qiv.
