Binding multimedia keyboard controls in kde
I've been using gnome for a while now but have recently tried kde.
I have a logitech keyboard with volume up/down buttons (there are other multimedia buttons but I don't really use them). I was able to bind the volume buttons to the volume on gnome but have had trouble finding the same option in kde. Any help would be much appreciated.

Firstly...what DE are you running? I'm pretty sure that KDE allows you to map keys in the Kontrol Center, so you can do this from there.
If not, I'll let you know the surefire way to get it working.

I'm running kde3.2 on Slackware 10
I've looked around the control center and even done a search. I've found key binding configuration but nothing for volume.

I think your best bet would be to search google for your keyboard model + kde.
