How do I get the KDE graphical login? [SOLVED]
I just installed Slackware Linux and it's great..Except I have to login using the console then I need to type startx....How do I get X to start at boot so I can use the graphical login?

Find this line in your /etc/inittab:
and make it look like this:Code:id:3:initdefault:
Code:id:5:initdefault:

nvm...I set it to 4 and it works....Please lock this topic
- 09-23-2004 #5Good to know...Slack switches init4 and init5. Typically, runlevel 5 is multiuser mode with a graphical login while 4 is not used.
