XDMCP and Local Display
Hey there everyone
I'm looking for a solution regarding a Problem with a ThinClient and an XDMCP- Session. I'm trying this now for month (didn't get any help from the ThinClient manufacturer, they say I first have to buy 200 Units...)
The problem is as fallows:
I got a ThinClient with an Linux OS, from which I will connect to an HP-UX Server via XDMCP. This works well, but only on Port 6001 (local Display got 6000). But I need to have the XDMCP- Session connecting to Port 6000 because the other Ports are all firewalled. And we can't change anythin on the FW.
Now I want to know, how I can change the local Display on the ThinClient to use Display :1.0 and not :0.0
I couldn't find a solution on this on the Inet.... I looked for ages without luck.
Any help would be very appreciated
Thanks anyone in advance
Greetings
