Automounting removable devices with thunar volume manager
After having installed the thunar volume manager on xfce (Thunar Volume Manager (thunar-volman) [Xfce Goodies]) and checking that the settings are correct, I still have problems automounting removable devices: the device is not being deteced in thunar file manager.
This is the manual page: Using Removable Media
and thunar is running as a daemon, but when issuing lshal, the following is the result:
What do I need to do to make xfce automount removable devices?Code:# lshal error: dbus_bus_get: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.FileNotFound: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory
Please note:
Code:# uname -a FreeBSD 7.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.1-RELEASE #0: Thu Jan 1 08:58:24 UTC 2009 root@driscoll.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64
