Remote Desktop...
I am new to Linux and I was seeing how I would go about to get my other computer, which is a Windows, to connect to my Linux. I have Linux Mint 7. I have tried to get a VNC to work, but when I try to connect in Windows it doesn't connect. So can someone help me help my Windows to remote control my Linux?

The solution I use that I find fairly useful is x11vnc in linux (which I've found pretty fast, low overhead, easy install from ubuntu repo) and tightVNC viewer in windows to hook in.
I can't remember where I found the howto to install x11vnc but I'm sure it's just a short google away. The only hint I remember is that it is safer to change the default port.
cheers
