[SOLVED] Mounted drives appearing on desktop

Is there any way in Gnome to stop drives mounted at boot time appearing on the desktop?

OK, found something good enough. It turns off all volumes on the desktop!

Press Alt + F2 and enter "gconf-editor" without the quotes and press enter.
Navigate to Apps -> Nautilus -> Desktop
Select or deselect the appropriate options. (I turned off volumes_visible)

    "Simples Tchk!"
