    login problem

    Hi,

I am new user to linux and wish can get help in here.

I have remote login to the linux server from a window pc some days ago, but my pc accidently shut down. After that, I can't login to the linux system using the same username and password. However, I can login to the system if I used another user account.

    Anyone knows what happened? thanks!!!

What happens? Do you get any error messages, or just the generic "permission denied" one? Also, how are you connecting to the Linux system? Via ssh, telnet, or a remote desktop application such as VNC?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
