switching to S-Video
Hi,
I'm having a problem with switching to S-Video out on a laptop.
I have my laptop connected to a TV via the s-video out. On boot up I can switch to s-video and all looks fine on the TV (except it black and white) when the nvidia graphic driver starts I lose the s-video out.
If I press the fn-f4 key combination I get a brief flash of something on the tV that looks like it could be the desktop but its all scrambled and only lasts for a fraction of a second.
I assume this problem has something to do with my xorg.conf file?
I'm running debian 4.0 on a HP pavilion zv5000. I have reuilt the kernel and nvidia kernel interface and driver (so I'm using the nvidia driver not the nv).
Any idea how to fix this problem?
Thanks.
Here's my xorg.conf file:
# /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the /etc/X11/xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man /etc/X11/xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)

# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
