ALWAYS in GNOME

it's like a Ctrl + Alt + Backspace, but it never shows the TTYs again, i get the login screen (SLiM) but i can't Ctrl + Alt + F1, sometimes it doesn't even show SLiM, and my two screens simply turn off....

the computer is not frozen because i can still make the lights on the keyboard (caps, num, scroll) blink, but i have to hard-reset my machine, and it really pisses me off...

sometimes it crashes when i open Emesene too, or when i open Fusion icon...
