Lets say I download some sort of a theme (using Linux). Does it matter what distro I use or are linux themes interchangeable?
For the sake of accuracy, I'm using Slackware.

The distribution doesn't matter but the desktop environment does, such as KDE, Gnome, Xfce4, etc.

So I could run these themes (below) without issues?

KDE themes should work on any distro running KDE, and Gnome themes should work on any distro running Gnome. The wallpapers should work under any desktop environment, or window manager.
