hi , i use fedora 12 & ATI 4870, but 640 * 480 & 800 * 600 are the only options of resolution in display settings.
I cannot find /etc/X11/xorg.conf, ...

Xorg -configure make my pc crash~~
hi , i use fedora 12 & ATI 4870, but 640 * 480 & 800 * 600 are the only options of resolution in display settings.
I cannot find /etc/X11/xorg.conf, so i excute "init 1", and run "Xorg -configure", then my pc crashed.
Please somebody tell me why~ And how can i solve the problem.
ps: my english is not well~~thx
