    problem with xserver

    hi friends,

    i try to install some application in fc9 and after rebooting a blank screen appeared without any login screen,,
    but able to go to command prompt where if i try running startx it gives xserver already running ..

    in second channel using startx -- :1 GUI is running properly ... after i remove /tmp/.X0-lock file

    but after reboot it will be at the previous state ...
    i think some application is using the .X0-lock or the x server ...
    can any one help me in solving the problem ...

    Do you have Nvidia or ATI Graphics Card?
    Post the output of this
