    screen randomly resizes

I think i saw an option in a kernel config somewhere that said 'dynamic screen resolution.' Me being me i decided to try it. I have to say it was crap. My monitors sounded like turn signals it was changing res. so often. So i got rid of the option. Now using kernel 2.6.9 my screen keeps resizing. Is it a kernel thing or a xorg thing? Any ideas how to stop it?

I have the same problem, but i use 2.4.27 kernel and Xorg. after few weeks of working in Xorg my screen started resizing.. i dunno what is the reason, but i think it is because xorg, or because my monitor..
