[SOLVED] Xfce4 start menu list is gone
Hi everbody
I have ubuntu with last updates and desktop xfce4. I did some changes in start menu. And all menu list is gone. How could we rebuild start menu list?
I triedbut no success.Code:xfdesktop --reload
Error message something like
ThanksCode:No standard application found for >>%s<<
- 05-02-2011 #2You could go into where you made menu list changes and look for your borked entryI did some changes in start menu. And all menu list is gone
where you typed in %s and remove those entries that you put in.No standard application found for >>%s<<
I don't run xfce. But in Icewm or fluxbox when I bork a menu entry or bork a conky.rc entry. It keeps everything after that borked entry from showing up.

Next time make a backup of menu file before editing so you can restore it if you bork it.Linux Registered User # 475019
