    noapic problem with nvidia.


    I need help. When I type in noapic in the boot options and start the system it loads and when X should start just a blank screen apears. What should I do? This all hapenned after I installed the non-free Nvidia driver . i am using the gt520 grafic card and i am using debian but i encountered this problem on fedora too.

    Did you test your graphics after installing the driver, but before you rebooted? You can do that with the "startx" command. That is usually recommended. Also, when you installed the driver, was the noapic option active?
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
