Can Wallpaper Slideshows Display In Sequence?

    Greetings!

I found that XFCE Mint Maya's desktop slideshow (briefly), DesktopNova, and Cortina all only display images randomly instead of in sequence (either alphabetically or size or date). Is there a trick to whip such images into order? DesktopNova and Cortina home forums are ghosttowns that don't respond to such questions.

    Thanks!

I don't use Mint, but off the top of my head, if you named the files 00001.jpg, 00002.jpg, etc, it'd display in the order you wanted. Not exactly an elegant solution, however.
