    Font anti-aliasing in XMMS, MPlayer

Okay, little help here (again). Running KDE 3.2.3 with XMMS 1.2.10 and MPlayer 1.0pre5. In both of the aformentioned apps, the text in menus is aliased, even though I have text anti-aliasing and hinting enabled in the Control Center. Every other app has anti-aliased text, except those two. Can anybody help me with this prob?

XMMS and the MPlayer GUI both use GTK+, not qt or GTK2. I'm assuming the control center only affects the latter.
