    light weight desktop.


    Hi ,

    I am developing small linux distro based on debian kernel for completely programming.I want to add light weight desktop.Which desktop is suitable?

    Pls advice.Thanks

    Depends on your skill sets and needs I guess. I run this on dual core 4 gig ram setup@biker:~

    I think that would depend on your own personal preferences and what exactly you are looking for when you say "desktop", such as a lightweight but full desktop environment versus a simple window manager. You can find both along with some info about them, here:
