    Virtual Desktop

    Hello,

I want to try and set up a system that monitors a network and recieves live video feed. My idea was to setup the various programs on the different Virtual Desktops. I just want to know how to setup a script that will automatically switch between the desktops about every 30 seconds are so?

GStreamer would accept a live video feed and decode it/send it to the desktops alright. To switch desktops every N seconds would take minimal hacking on the source code.
